Ronnie Eugene “Buzz” Bowlin of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee, having attained the age of 62 years, 8 months, and 2 days. He was born in Albany, Kentucky on Thursday, May 5, 1955, the son of Bruce and Goldie Stonecipher Bowlin. He was a Christian and worked at Grider Hill Boat Dock in Clinton County Kentucky for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Fredia Campbell, two brothers, Billy Joe Bowlin, J.B. Bowlin and a grandson, Asher Gabbard.
He is survived by his three daughters, Misty (and Doyle) Turner of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Vanessa Ferrell of Albany, Rachael (and Jerry) Adams of Albany, four sisters, Erlene Hensley, Reba Claborn, Kathy Melton, all of Albany, Jeanie Schroat of California, four brothers, Donald Bowlin, Johnny Bowlin, Dorvin Bowlin, Dennis Bowlin, all of Albany, 14 grandchildren, Tiffany, Jacob, Renee, Lindsay, Anthony, Andrew, Aaron, Alex, Shaylin, Brylee, Landon, Bronson, Ashtyn, Liam and many other relatives and friends.
The funeral was conducted on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Brown and Bro. Walter “Chopper” Brown officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Hill Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Mike Melton, Dennis Bowlin, Bobby Claborn, Johnny Bowlin, Jr., Sherman Hensley, Bill Cooksey, and Jacob Cash.
