Pearl Ballard Branham Davis

Pearl Ballard Branham Davis, 80, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky. She was born in the Marrowbone Community of Cumberland County, Kentucky on Sunday, September 25, 1932, the daughter of the late Herman Ballard and Ruby Branham Ballard. She was a member of the Waterview Church of Christ and worked for Firestone Tire and Rubber in Noblesville, Indiana for over 25 years, and was the telephone receptionist for Norris-New Funeral Home for several years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin Branham and Elton Jasper Davis, and her sister-in-law, Robbie Nell Ballard.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Ann White (and Larry Hill) of Burkesville, her granddaughter whom she loved as a daughter, Dawn Renea (and Jimmy) Cleary of Burkesville, her brother, Russell Ballard of Burkesville, her sister, Linda (and Jimmy) Bryant of Burkesville, her great-granddaughters, Chelsea Renea White and Jonnha Michelle Hali Cleary, both of Burkesville, her step-daughters, Carolyn (and Otis) Rigsby of Willow Shade, Vicki (and Gale) Bryant of Marrowbone and Beth Wells of Glasgow, and several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

Services were held on Friday, September 27, 2013 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Castillo, Bro. Leroy Kauffman and Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. Special singing was provided by the Marrowbone Christian Brotherhood Church. Burial was in the Marrowbone Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tim Bryant, Jim Rigsby, Tracy Bryant, Jarred Wolfe, Cary Wolfe, Adam Gwinn, Tommy Young, Joe Branham and Jason Strange.
