News from Black’s Ferry, Ky.

Good morning from Woodland Street. Hope this finds everyone up and around the house this morning. It has been several months since I have written anything but I’ll try and make up for lost time.

There are some people who like what I write and I appreciate that. Kenneth Thrasher, Stevie Joe York, Jimmy Baker, David Lewis and many more so I hope to write something you will like.

The old Ford tractor is one of the pictures I’m using. It belongs to Stevie Joe York of Campbellsville. It sure is beautiful. I wished I had one as pretty.

It is only three days until Halloween. I never did like the occasion. It is man made and I don’t think God will acknowledge it.

The second picture shows the Courthouse that was built in 1934. Check out the old cars and trucks and the clock tower.

I want to extend sympathy to the families that have lost loved ones. I have lost two cousins this year and many good friends. There is no promise of tomorrow, so try and be ready when God calls you.

I guess I have bored you long enough so I’ll close for now. Maybe more next time. So long, keep the faith, pray often and God will bless you.
