Louis A. Keller, 94, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at his home. He was born on December 23, 1918 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Louis Michael and Nancy Ellen Wuersch Keller. He was a retired postal service employee and a veteran of World War II serving as a Sergeant in the 73rd Fighter Squadron in the Pacific Theater. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Keller and one sister, Margaret Ellen Keller and one brother, Charles Keller.
Survivors include one brother, Ray Keller and his wife Martha of Wilmington, North Carolina, one sister, Doris Foster of Cincinnati, Ohio, special family, Donnie and Patty Riddle of Burkesville, Travis and Shelia Moore of Indianapolis, Indiana, Barry and Diane Moore of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Bro. Jerry and Brenda Moore of Dover, Tennessee.
Services were held Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Moore officiating. Burial was in Modoc Cemetery. Pallbearers were Barry C. Moore, Barry T. Moore, Craig Groce, Bradley Stotts, Shawn Riddle and Donnie Riddle. Honorary pallbearers were Bro. Jerry Moore, Shelia Moore, Patty Riddle, Edward Riddle, Ray Keller and Irettis Riley.
