Lou Ann Whitlow Bryant of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, formerly of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Signature Healthcare in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 73 years, 4 months, and 3 days. She was born in Metcalfe County, Kentucky on Tuesday, October 17, 1944, the daughter of Bedford Clayton and Hattie Vibbert Whitlow. She was of Methodist faith, a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Mt. Hermon, Kentucky, a farmer and a house wife.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold “Tittler” Bryant, whom she married on Friday, June 26, 1981, her brother, David Cordell Whitlow, her sister, Patsy Davis, and her niece, Tammy Hagan.
She is survived her step-sons, Charlie Bryant of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, Larry Bryant of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, her brothers, Paul Whitlow of Mt. Hermon, Carson Whitlow of Mt. Hermon, her sisters, Darlene Pickerell of Tompkinsville, Azel Whitlow of Mt. Hermon, her niece, Pam Allen, her great-niece, Miranda Isenberg Williams, her great-great niece, Addison Williams, plus a host of relatives and friends,
The funeral service was conducted on Friday, February 23, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. Burial was in the Dutch Creek Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Pallbearers were Tim Bryant, Bro. Todd Bryant, Jimmy Combs, Danny Joe Vibbert, Randy Jones and David Wilson. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Bryant, Leon White, Randy Vibbert, Boyd Alexander, Chris Alexander, Jeff Alexander and Wayne Vibbert.
