Kathy Ann Stowell Wireman

Kathy Ann Stowell Wireman, 56, of Albany, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at the Clinton County Hospital in Albany, Kentucky. She was born in Frostburg, Maryland on Sunday, February 9, 1958, the daughter of Owen Richard and Kathryn Irene Schneider Stowell. She was a member of the Albany First Baptist Church where she served as church librarian, an active member of the Emmaus Community and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Owen Richard Stowell and her brother, Zane Richard Stowell.

She is survived by her husband, William C. “Bill” Wireman of Albany, whom she wed on Saturday, May 1, 1982, her mother, Kathryn Irene Schneider Stowell of Monticello, her son, Joshua Wireman of Albany, her sister, Brenda Austin of Monticello, her grandchildren, Summer Nicole Wireman and Lucas Cane Ross, several nieces and nephews and a large church family.

A Celebration of Life service was held on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the Albany First Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Brown and Sister Kim Koger officiating. Special singing was provided by the Albany First Baptist Church Choir and Keith McWhorter. Special music was provided by Marguerite Bertram.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions to help with final expenses. Contributions may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Campbell-New Funeral Home at P.O. Box 25, Albany, Kentucky 42602.
