Henry Kyle Booher, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 84 years, 8 months and 22 days. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky, on Friday, April 14, 1933, the son of the late Edd and Florence (Holman) Booher. He was a Christian, a member of the Burkesville Separate Baptist Church, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a machine operator for the Armor Elevator Company, the Marley Company, an employee of the City of Burkesville for 14 years and a member of the 1953 Graduating Class of Burkesville High School.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife on December 14, 2017, Alice Jean (Davidson) Booher, whom he married on Saturday, December 10, 1955, his brothers, James Booher and Gary Booher.
He is survived by his son, Mitchell (and Michelle) Booher of Burkesville, his siblings, Harley Booher of Taylorsville, Hazel Hibbs of Cox Creek, three grandchildren, Joseph Booher, Josh Booher and Peyton Booher, five great-grandchildren, Kyligh, Wyatt, Eathan, Kinley and Silas.
The funeral service was conducted on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. David Irwin and Bro. Donnie Shelley officiating. Burial was in the Gaines Hill Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were William Arms, Jeremy Groce, Scottie Riley, Joseph Booher, Josh Booher, Peyton Booher, Cory Smith and Kenneth Smith.
