David Conley Hinds

David Conley Hinds passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 75 years, 6 months and 20 days. He was born on Saturday, January 17, 1942 in Jamestown (Fentress County) Tennessee, the son of William Stanley and Dina Victoria (Matthews) Hinds. He was an architect, an artist drawing beautiful pencil drawings, and a Musician. He was preceded in death by his parents, his former wife, Regina Wray Hinds, his brothers, Robert Hinds and Lester Hinds.

He is survived by his daughters, Sharon Hinds (and Bruce Lindsey) of Bowling Green, Loretta (and Ronnie) Savage of Burkesville, his brother, Eugene Hinds of Chattanooga, Tennessee, his grandchildren, Jenni Smith, Ashley Smith, Paul Savage, and Jennifer Cooksey, great-grandchildren, Alex Cawthorn, Andrew Cooksey and Alaysha Crowe.

The funeral was conducted on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris New Funeral Home with burial in the Bow Schoolhouse Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers contributions appreciated to The Bow Schoolhouse Cemetery Fund.
