Chester (Chet) Pitcock, 69, of Marrowbone, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at his home. He was born on August 14, 1946 to the late Taylor and Ovie Vibbert Pitcock. He was a retired crane operator for General Motors and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Michael Pitcock in 2002.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Walker Pitcock of Marrowbone, three daughters, Carla (and Rollie) Bramlett of Indianapolis, Indiana, Carol (and Kevin) Guffey of Albany and Cathy (and Jimmie) Knox of Martinsville, Indiana, eight grandchildren, David, Ryan (and Stephanie), Jake, Jessica (and James), Zachary, Jared, Ethan and Caleb, four great grandchildren, Gracie, Kampbell, Rhys and Dalton, four brothers, Carl Pitcock, Gene Pitcock, and Larry Pitcock, all of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Bobby Pitcock of Plainfield, Indiana, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home with Ryan Bramlett officiating. Burial was in the Marrowbone Cemetery with military honors by the United States Marine Corp. Pallbearers were David Scott, Ryan Bramlett, Jessica Gilbert, Jake Scott, Zach Bramlett, Jared Knox, Ethan Knox and James Gilbert.
