Charles Earl “Chuck” Strange, 61, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky. He was born in Anderson, Indiana on Thursday, July 9, 1953, the son of the late Donald “Bird” Strange and Sally Dunn.
He was of Christian faith, the owner of Strange Bait and Tackle for over 28 years, a U. S. Army Veteran, a former member of the Cumberland County V. F. W. Post 5419 and member of the H.O.G. Association.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Robin Strange.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lee of Burkesville, whom he married on Wednesday, February 5, 2003, his daughter, Sarah (and Corey) Garner of Shepherdsville, his brother, Mark Strange, his sister, Deana Dunn, both of Anderson, Indiana, his nieces, Sarah Strange, Jessica Strange, his beloved dog, Torque and special friends, Joey Burchett, Jimmy “Steer” Scott, Pat Smith, Jon Riley, Mark Lee, Gary Baise, Horace Capps, Tony Radford, Junior Gray, Glenn Garner, Jeff Swack Hammer and Dr. Samuel Rice.
A Memorial Service was conducted on Sunday, June 21, 2015, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Connar officiating. Eulogies were shared by his daughter, Sarah Garner and friend, Gary Baise.
