Brenda (Jennings) Negron, 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017. She was born on November 21, 1938 to the late Reid and Vida Jennings in Burkesville, Kentucky. She worked for Western Electric for over 12 years. She loved animals, shopping, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio “Tony” Negron.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Rosie Negron Valdez (Joe); grandchildren, Joey and Jenni Valdez; siblings, Bill Jennings (Joyce), Jesse Jennings (Phyllis), Linda Mimna (Steve Hooker), Sammie Jennings (Delene), Kay Hofer (Frank), Ronnie Jennings, Robert Payne Jennings (Norma); and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis. She was laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Brenda’s honor may be made to either the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
